REMINDER
The band hall will be open from 3:30-4:30 Saturday afternoon for students to check out uniforms and instruments for the parade Saturday if they were not able to pick them up after school today.
More parade information
Parents who are dropping off students:

Parade organizers have asked that all students be dropped off in the Kroger parking lot so as to avoid congestion in the Heathplex area where the bands are lining up. Students can be picked up in the MC coliseum parking lots after the parade.
Clinton Christmas Parade!
The CHS Band will be marching in the Clinton Christmas Parade this Saturday, December 3. The parade begins at 6:00 PM. Band members will need to assemble (meet) in the parking lot of the Baptist Healthplex at 5:00. The High School Band is near the beginning of the parade, so timeliness is very important. Band members must be fully dressed and have their instruments on arrival. Students are encouraged to dress warmly under their uniforms. No outer wear (coats or jackets other than band uniforms) will be allowed over the band uniforms. Members will wear their white gloves.

Tubas and percussion instruments will be transported to the parade site by a truck but all others will need to take their instruments home on Friday afternoon for the parade on Saturday.

PRACTICE INFORMATION:
THE BAND WILL MARCH OUTSIDE IN PREPARATION FOR THE PARADE ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY MORNING THIS WEEK. STUDENTS SHOULD DRESS ACCORDINGLY ON THOSE DAYS AND HAVE MARCHING INSTRUMENTS READY.

Members will have two options to check out their uniforms:

1. (preferred) Take your uniform home with you after school on Friday, wear it to the parade Saturday, turn in in Monday morning.

2. The band hall will be open from 3:30-4:30 Satuday afternoon for students who need to pick up unforms or horns for the parade.

ALL UNIFORMS MUST BE TURNED BACK IN MONDAY AFTER THE PARADE.

THE PARADE IS A REQUIRED PERFORMANCE FOR BAND AND COLOR GUARD MEMBERS.
